I love ordering from Amazon but am now leery of their secondary vendors. This knife broke at the handle while slicing a sheet cake! We don't normally have bagels but I've had a knife like this before and used it on baked items without issue. I would think a sheet cake is easier to slice than a bagel... If I had gotten this at a retail store or knew the manufacturer I could have returned it but the marketplace only has a 30 day return window - there is no exceptions for items that break & are possibly still under a manufacturer warranty.
