These are very small - just about large enough for one pat of butter. Not very practical in my opinion.

Norpro's Mini Butter Keeper set of 4 mini bells for individual place settings. Fill bell with softened butter and turn upside down in base. The cold water creates a seal that prevents air from reaching the butter and souring it.Each family member can have his or her own soft butter kept ready for daily use at the table with this set of four butter keepers. Each ceramic keeper features two parts: a base, into which cold water is poured; and a bell, into which softened butter is patted.
