Customer Review: A 'Must Have' for Garlic Lovers!!

Being a collector of kitchen gadgets, I purchased this a few years ago and it disappeared among the other items in my collection. I found it recently and bought some fresh garlic, drizzled it with olive oil, and sprinkled some fresh thyme over it. About 45 minutes later, the house was filled with the aroma of roasted garlic....YUMMM!!! I have used roasted garlic with mashed potatoes and will never again do it any other way. The Norpro works much better than foil as it bakes the garlic more evenly. I use this item all the time now and just toss it in the oven when I'm roasting another main dish or casserole. It's so good that you may find yourself wanting more than one, as there is nothing that tastes better than food smothered in roasted garlic.

You will find so many uses for baked garlic. Our terra cotta garlic baker comes with a basic recipe to get you started, even beginners. The dome is unglazed to withstand hotter temperatures and the base is glazed for shorter baking time and retaining natural juices. The baker can also be used to store fresh garlic between uses. The height of the lid is 4 Inch and the diameter of the lid is 4.75 Inch.Roasted garlic is all the rage, and for good reason: its sweet, savory flavor adds depth and richness to many dishes and it's an easy appetizer when served with a crusty loaf of bread. This terra cotta garlic baker comes equipped with a basic recipe to get you started. There's even a microwave version, but taking the time in the oven gives the best results.
