As strange as it may sound, I actually purchased this item as a gift for my daughter, per her request. She was concerned about splatters of grease popping out of the skillet when frying bacon and other items. She just places the screen over the skillet...and, no splatters. Very handy when there are young children in and out of kitchen during meal preparation. The merchant's description was good and the item arrived right on schedule. I would purchase from this merchant again given the opportunity and/or need. Same could be said for the item itself also.

Norpro's Grip-EZ Nonstick Splatter Screen protects yourself and your kitchen from splatters. While still allowing air and steam to release. Also use as a sieve/strainer. 13"/33cm diameter.Protect bare skin from grease burns and eliminate splatter spots on the stovetop with this splatter screen from Everett, Washington-based kitchenware provider Nor Pro. The splatter screen fits over skillets, pots, and woks 11-inches in diameter and smaller, reflecting bubbling oil or marinara sauce back into the cookware instead of onto nearby walls and countertops.
