This cutter is very easy to use. The suction cup on the bottom holds the cutter in place while you work the lever to cut the potato. The ONLY drawback I have with this cutter is that the MAXIMUM length of a potato you can cut is only 3 1/2 inches, so if you want longer fries you'll have to look at other cutters.
